If you are a Beyoncé fan, she has challenged you to become Vegan for the New Year. Veganism is a practice of abstaining from eating meat in your diet, and instead adhering to a plant-based diet. Veganism helps conservation of animals and detox all unwanted fats from eating meat in your diet.  Beyoncé’s trainer, Marco Borges, gives us three key meals that you can replace your normal diet with and help you live a healthier lifestyle.  I will be sharing the top three meals that I would recommend to not only Bey-Hive fans, but everyone to help eat cleaner and help live a sustainable lifestyle.

  1. Mushroom Chorizo Lettuce Tacos- instead of using steak, chicken or beef, Marco substitutes mushrooms as the meat base for these tacos. They add great flavor and are very nutritious.
  2. Rainbow Quinoa Bowls - similar to Chipotle & Moe’s Burrito Bowls, these bowls are loaded with vitamins and fiber.
  3. Healthy Loaded Sweet Potatoes - instead of using butter to add creaminess to your baked potato, cashew dressing helps substitute the sweetness of a regular loaded potato.
